General requirements
- Suitable for early-career professionals and graduates. Some prior knowledge of communications and an engineering background is required.
- As part of the course delegates will be expected to do small group design projects for which they will need to do calculations requiring either a calculator with trigonometric functions or an excel spread sheet on a laptop. The laptop will be needed for PowerPoint presentations at the end of the week.
- The course material will provide the background and all the necessary design equations for the projects. Delegates should ideally have an engineering or computer science qualification or industrial background with relevant experience.
- The projects will be communications based, and thus if delegates do not have knowledge of digital communications they may wish to consult a textbook on the subject prior to attending the course.
