Key facts
The aim of this module is to enable you to analyse the structure of primary and community care services to understand the complexities of policy and the political processes in relation to the development and provision of health and social care. It is intended that you will develop greater understanding of partnership working in relation to policy implementation and be able to evaluate the impact on health and social care delivery.

Programme Structure
Courses include:
- Critically analyse and evaluate national and local primary care policy and service provision in relation to client need and policy requirements.
- Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the complexity arising from legal and ethical dilemmas and their impact on decision making in the primary and community setting.
- Critically assess the resources needed for the implementation and evaluation of service developments at local and national levels and identify innovative solutions.
- Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the economics of health and social care service delivery.
- Critical analysis of the factors which influence collaborative partnerships for effective health and social care.
