Overview
This APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ) course from University of Westminster is a knowledge-based award developed and accredited by the Association for Project Management (APM), the only chartered body for the project profession. This five-day course will help you understand how the various elements of a project fit together and how projects of all sizes and scope fit into the strategic and commercial environment. Passing the exam gives you an internationally-recognised qualification and takes you one step closer to becoming a Chartered Project Professional (ChPP).Employers throughout the world and across all types of industries now recognise the value that competent and capable project professionals can offer – reducing risk, increasing the chance of success and steering change efficiently and effectively. That's why almost half of PMQ holders earn more than £50K, according to latest salary figures.
Project Managers need a range of technical, administrative and interpersonal skills across the project lifecycle to be able to set up for success, prepare for change, manage people and behaviours, and then plan and oversee deployment.
