• We’ll talk about the history of localization broadly and at Google. We’ll explore the power of localization and cover key concepts and definitions you’ll need throughout the course.

• We’ll see what localization looks like in practice and how professionals approach localizing different content types, from Online Help documents to actual user interfaces.

• You’ll meet some of the localization professionals at Google. You’ll learn about their different roles and profiles and about the skills required for each of those roles and more.

• We’ll focus on the series of steps involved in localization project preparation, execution, testing and launch.
• We’ll learn about the different types of tools involved at every stage of the localization project.
