This program provides a solid foundation to understanding many important aspects of business including offering insights and understanding into the global economy, the business world, and the human and cultural factors shaping policies and decisions.

Students will delve into the core principles of business and management, including strategy formulation and execution. At the heart of all great businesses is an excellent management team and excellent managers.  The program will explore the significance of strategic management and planning in today's global business environment and how it guides organizations toward achieving their long-term objectives.

Through case studies, learners will understand the complexities of strategic decision-making and the impact of external and internal factors on an organization's direction. This comprehensive exploration aims to equip students with the analytical skills needed to lead with vision, efficiency and effectiveness.

Programme Structure

  • 6 courses are taught per year including 1 course taught during the summer break.  Students can select their course/s depending upon the TALK academic calendar.
  • A minimum of 3 business courses are taught each year with the remaining courses in the humanities, social sciences or arts
  • Course curricula follow nationally, and internationally accepted guidelines as determined by the College Board or the American Council on Education.
  • The designated textbook follows the curriculum and is required for studies. Online resources are used when appropriate, to enrich the learning experience.
  • A program calendar is established for a 3-year period and courses are taught in sequence according to the calendar.

General requirements

  • An F-1 student visa or US residency
  • A minimum age of 18 years
  • As a long-term, full-time program, international students are required to apply for an F1 student visa.  Typically, successful applicants are provided a visa for the length of the program, which is stamped into their passports, allowing students to travel to their home countries during the summer break, without needing to renew their visa.  Our enrollment specialists are trained to assist students with the process and assembling the required documentation for the US Consulate interview.
