Overview
The Professional Certificate of Competency of EMI-EMC, Shielding, Earthing and Noise Reduction Techniques from the Engineering Institute of Technology main scope of this course is to review EMC problems associated with electrical and electronic systems, types of emissions from different sources, and measurement techniques involved in EMI. Additionally, the course covers shielding, including types of shielding such as inductive and capacitive shielding, shielding racks, and shielding rooms, as well as design considerations for shielding to provide a comprehensive understanding of the topic and its terminology.
The second part of the course introduces the basic principles of noise problems, noise reduction principles, and noise reduction techniques. It also covers earthing, including the principles of earthing, earth grid techniques, analogue and digital earthing, and various earthing techniques. Towards the end, the course examines noise coupling mechanisms and their causes.
