The course consists of Subjects for International Students taught in Japanese, and Global Frontier Classes, Skill Up for Studying Abroad, Specialized Education Courses of the Faculty of Law taught in English, and so on.

Programme Structure
Course include:
- JLC offers 7 levels of Japanese language classes from the beginner to advanced level so that students are able to take classes in accordance with their linguistic ability (level of Japanese proficiency).
- Students will be able to explore various aspects of Japan and Japanese society in Japanese, and improve advanced communication and problem-solving skills necessary for global business and global human resources.
- To enhance your Japanese proficiency, you can take advantage of the Japanese language tutor system, in which Kansai University students provide support, as well as the conversational Japanese brush-up seminars that offer practical training in everyday conversation. Additionally, each international student is assigned an academic advisor who provides support and guidance on course registration, academic learning, and daily life matters.

General requirements
- JLC students are required to enroll in a minimum of 10 hours of classes per week in one semester. It is desirable to have the following of language proficiency to enroll in a minimum of 10 hours per week.
- Japanese language proficiency equivalent to either Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N2 level, CEFR B2 or higher.
- English language proficiency equivalent to either TOEFL ITP®505, TOEFL iBT®60, TOEIC®580 level, CEFR B1 or higher
