Aligned with CompTIA and Microsoft certifications, this Cybersecurity programme from California Miramar University is a 6-course short-term programme equips you with actionable knowledge for immediate workforce entry.
Upon successful completion of the certificate programme, students will be eligible to receive up to $1,000.00 toward the cost of one industry-recognized certification from the CalMU-approved certification and vendor list.

- IT 3004 – Cyber Security II deepens those skills with a focus on encryption, authentication, database security, and threat intelligence.
- Complementing this, IT 3030 – Cryptography and Secure Communications explores the use of encryption, digital signatures, and public key infrastructure to secure digital communications.
- Finally, IT 3031 – Ethical Hacking and Penetration Testing provides hands-on experience with hacking tools and penetration testing techniques to identify, exploit, and mitigate security vulnerabilities, rounding out the students' practical cybersecurity skill set.
