The development is coupled with the Malaysia Shipping Master Plan (MSMP) that covers all the various ingredients that make for a successful shipping industry from the actual vessels that carry the trade, the employment and development of Malaysian seafarers and maritime human capital, ship financing, business and regulatory environment, and the provision of ancillary services.
Key Facts
This Ship Handling (Management Level) (SHM) course from University of Wollongong provides training in Ship handling recommended in the IMO Model Course 1.22 and fulfills the training requirement for Navigating Senior officers at the Management Level, specified in Table A-II/2 of STCW Code concerning maneuvering and handling a ship in various conditions in congested waters including berthing and unberthing scenario.
