Key facts:
Intensive English has 5 levels (Levels 1-5), with students completing Level 5 qualifying to take English 101 and college level courses. New international students must take an approved placement test (Duolingo, Accuplacer) to determine which level they will start at. Intensive English is offered at Olympic College.

Programme Structure
- Intensive English is taught for an entire academic quarter (3 months), and the coursework consists of 18 credits per quarter. The weekly schedule is taught over 4 days per week, with Grammar & Vocabulary being taught two hours per day, Listening & Writing being taught one hour per day, and Listening & Speaking being taught one hour, three days per week.
- In addition to classroom time, students will have access to: free in-person and online tutoring, English conversation partners, academic success and education plans, and a dedicated academic advisor.
