This training includes brakes, electrical/electronic systems, engine performance, suspension and steering, automatic and transaxle transmission, engine repair, heating and air conditioning, manual drive train and axles. Instructors with field experience provide a practical and knowledgeable source of education.
Career Paths
The Automotive Technology programme from Kansas City Kansas Community College is designed to get students into entry level positions within the automotive mechanical repair industry. Those graduates are well prepared to quickly move into high level technician positions. We also have students that choose to get into management of automotive repair facilities and students who own their own shops.
