Overview
Individual portraits and medallions will be used as case studies to illustrate aspects of Scotland's involvement with slavery in the Caribbean during the 18th and early 19th centuries.
They'll discuss how those involved in the slave trade are represented in artworks and artefacts, and they'll think about how this fits into Scotland's past. Learn more at the Themes at the National Galleries - Scotland and Slavery programme offered by The University of Edinburgh.

No previous experience is required.
