  • Plan and discuss the rationale in adopting the correct access cavity and have knowledge on canal location and strategies for canal identification
  • Critically review techniques and protocols available to produce consistent tapered root canal preparations.
  • Discuss the reasons and methodology for obturating the root canal and the advantages and disadvantages of the different techniques available.
  • Understand the roles and variety of irrigants and lubricants available for canal preparation, and the use of disinfectants in managing endodontic infections.
