Overview
You will learn songs both as a large ensemble and in smaller vocal groups. There will also be an opportunity to perform individually should you wish to.
What can I expect?
You can expect to learn a variety of songs whilst developing your stylistic, rhythmic and harmonic awareness. The Singers' Weekend - Jazz, Gospel and World Music programme from Guildhall School of Music & Drama will cover techniques in using a microphone, movement and vocal exercises. The workshop will culminate in a recorded performance, which will be accompanied by a band on Sunday evening.
