Outcomes
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
- analyse and evaluate the fundamental concepts, principles and theories associated with collaborative working and the associated ICTs, Standards and processes
- develop a systematic understanding and analysis of the relationships between ICTs, business processes, and employees’ skills in the design and implementation of collaborative working
- identify, critically analyse and appraise the implications for projects and businesses of using collaborative working
- analyse, evaluate and resolve problems on construction projects using collaborative working standards and ICTs
- communicate effectively in oral, written and graphical formats incorporating relevant information

General requirements
- You should have a minimum of three years’ professional experience and have the support of your employer to integrate study and projects into your day-to-day work.
- You will probably be employed on significant infrastructure or building works, with experience of developing and coordinating projects.
- If you wish to receive credit, you should also have a 2:2 honours degree in a construction-related subject.
- Applicants with non-standard entry qualifications and/or relevant experience will be considered on an individual basis.
