Throughout this Inclusivity in the Workplace course at Nottingham Trent University, you will build your confidence and competence in working with and managing individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
This will enable you to leverage unique talents for the benefit of both individuals and your business, giving you a stronger ability to strengthen your workforce and recruit from a wider pool of skilled candidates.
Learning outcomes
- Demonstrate knowledge of the many ways in which people differ from each other
- Create inclusive environments within your teams
- Understand the values and motivations of all generational groups in your organisation, and how these can be used to your advantage
- Ensure that no-one in your organisation feels left out or marginalised
- Know when (and how) to intervene if workplace behaviour becomes questionable or leaves colleagues feeling uncomfortable
- Equip both team leaders and those in their teams with the skills to build healthy and inclusive working environments
