You will cover the procedures involved in recovering digital devices and other types of digital evidence at a crime scene before going on to look at seizure, safe handling, packaging and storage of digital evidence.
What you’ll study
During this Introduction to Digital Crime Scene Examination course at Nottingham Trent University you will study the legislation and principles underpinning digital forensic investigations; the processes for recovery of common digital devices.
You will learn how to apply digital evidence principles to crime scene examination and the methods for recovering digital devices.
