Overview
It focuses on how to create a successful outcome by matching the key elements of the business case and the client’s attitude to risk to an appropriate procurement strategy.By the end of this course, you’ll be able to:understand the implications of the client’s business case and the resulting objectives and parameters for project procurementestablish and evaluate the exposure to project costs and risksidentify the client’s attitude to these riskdemonstrate knowledge and understanding of the options commonly adopted for procuring design and construction workselect an appropriate procurement strategy.

- You should have a minimum of three years’ professional experience and have the support of your employer to integrate study and projects into your day-to-day work.
- You will probably be employed on significant infrastructure or building works, with experience of developing and coordinating projects.
- If you wish to receive credit, you should also have a 2:2 honours degree in a construction-related subject.
- Applicants with non-standard entry qualifications and/or relevant experience will be considered on an individual basis.
