Overview
Through the French Beginners Step 1 from The University of Edinburgh you will learn to introduce yourself and others; talk about your work and what you do in your free time; describe where you live; and interact in a restaurant.
You will develop listening, speaking, reading and writing skills through a variety of learning activities in class and at home. Class-based activities include small-group role-plays, responding to short texts, listening to dialogues or watching video clips. Language learning requires regular practice, and you will consolidate your skills at home, with vocabulary, grammar and writing exercises.
If you have fully engaged with all the learning activities and have attended regularly, by the end of the course, you should be able to:
