Overview
This Creative Media Production and Technology course at Edinburgh College will suit people who want to develop their own creative practice or who are interested in working in a range of creative media professions.
You will gain an understanding of different jobs and skills within the creative media industries, as well as different ways of working. You’ll develop ideas in response to project briefs, explore different techniques for storytelling in creative media, learn to capture media, manage a media workflow and edit your work. And you will work with others to produce a range of media products.
Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, students may wish to pursue further studies in Creative Industries, such as Television and Film, Digital Journalism, Audio-Visual Technology, Television with Multi-camera Operation, Sound Production, Visual Communication, or Graphic Communication and Design.
