This 20-credit Level 7 module allows you to develop skills within your field in:
- Advanced communication
- Clinical assessment
- Examination
- Clinical decision making and management.
You'll be working at an advanced level of clinical practice. Throughout the module, you'll learn how to analyse, combine, and review care decisions. You'll then discuss, debate, and review alternative approaches to care delivery. This is to meet the medico-legal requirements for advanced practice.
We deliver this module in-person at City Campus, usually on Wednesdays. It's taught via interactive lectures, simulations, and problem-based learning. Total contact time is 88 hours, and there's extra self-directed study available. This is through the Virtual Learning Environment.
