About

Continue to develop as a healthcare professional. Join Asthma and COPD in Adults delivered by University of Sunderland.

Overview

Build on your knowledge and clinical practice. You'll gain skills to deliver care to people with respiratory conditions. The Asthma and COPD in Adults degree is offered by University of Sunderland.

Key facts

This short course is for qualified healthcare practitioners. You'll be working in either a hospital or community setting. The course builds the knowledge and skills required to care for patients who have both:

A common respiratory condition such as asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)

Acute or chronic clinical episodes.

You'll explore the entire patient journey from initial diagnosis to palliative care. The course focuses on holistic wellness in respiratory disease. There are three routes available depending on your experience:

  • Management of Asthma and COPD in Adults (Level 6)
