Overview
The Ramsgate Homestay courses from Churchill House School Summer Centres takes place at Churchill House Centre in Ramsgate offers a classic English summer school by the coast, set in a quiet residential area just 10 minutes from the town centre. The school sits in a beautiful nineteenth-century square overlooking tennis courts and the harbour, creating a calm, welcoming environment for international students.
Classes take place in modern, purpose-built classrooms around the square, while the Clubroom is the heart of student life. With a self-service restaurant, pool table, and evening entertainment like discos and karaoke, it’s the perfect place for students to relax, socialise, and practise their English in a fun, friendly setting.
Activities & Excursions
Language learning continues beyond the classroom through our full activity and excursion programme. Students are encouraged to use spoken English during group activities, games, and cultural visits.
Each week includes:
- One half-day excursion to a local attraction
- One full-day trip to a major UK destination
- Evening social events at the Clubroom, including karaoke, discos, and games nights
