- Be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) at Level 1 Adult
- Be a CCOP or equivalent. Or, working in an intensive care unit, with the ability to work in a CCOT to fulfil the relevant competencies
- Show evidence of Level 6 or Level 7 study.
