  • This course is designed for students aged 19 and over who are interested in pursuing a career in dental healthcare.

Applicants should normally have:

  • A minimum of four GCSEs at Grade 4/C or above, including English Language (or an equivalent Level 2 qualification)
  • An interest in healthcare and providing excellent patient care
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team

As this qualification includes the development and assessment of practical competence, students will need to complete workplace learning within a dental practice.

Applicants who are already employed in a dental practice are encouraged to apply, and support and guidance may be available for those seeking a placement.
