The Counselling - Helping Skills course at The Sheffield College is a stand alone qualification, not just for those who wish to progress onto counselling courses.
The course considers how to support others through active listening and how to develop your existing listening skills through practical activities which are informed by theory and best practice.
Outcomes
On successful completion you could progress onto Level 3 or it may improve your employment prospects particularly in the care and voluntary sectors.
