Overview
Whether you are a learner continuing from another of our pottery courses, or are returning to clay, this Pottery - Discovery course at Kingston College offers the perfect balance of guidance and independent making in a fully equipped specialist studio.
Led by an expert tutor, you’ll be supported to explore your own creative ideas while building technical skills at your own pace.
Features
Each week your tutor will introduce an intermediate-level technique, such as hand-building methods, surface decoration, or glazing approaches, which you can choose to incorporate into your own personal projects. The emphasis is on creative discovery, allowing you to follow your interests while expanding your skill set.
You’ll work primarily through hand-building processes and have the opportunity to experiment with a range of clay bodies and glazes. The course fosters a relaxed, friendly community of makers, encouraging collaboration, inspiration, and shared learning.
All materials & firing are included, so you can focus fully on making and developing your work in a supportive studio environment.
