General requirements
- This course is for people aged 19+.
- Candidates must have completed at least 75 Guided Learning Hours in counselling skills, such as a Level 2 Certificate course or equivalent.
- A good level of spoken English (EG- equivalent of GCSE English a pass grade) and sufficient literacy skills to read and write to A-level standard are required. Students will also need to have access to a PC and the internet and it would be beneficial for applicants to have some level of IT skills.
- Students must have emotional readiness before embarking on this programme. This course is not recommended if you are feeling emotionally vulnerable or experiencing life events that could impact your mental health.
- Applicants will be invited to a brief interview which may be remote or in person.
