Overview
In this Beauty Therapy course at City of Glasgow College you'll study a selection of the most popular beauty treatments, plus all the essential related subjects, required to achieve this qualification.
Amongst other subjects, you will study make-up, body massage, tanning, facials and a variety of popular nail treatments such as gel nail extensions.
You will gain hands-on experience by working with real clients, practicing treatments to build confidence, skill and industry expertise.

- Four National 5 qualifications at Grade C or above; OR
- NC Beauty Care and Make-Up SCQF Level 5; OR
- Other equivalent qualifications or experience.
- You must provide a strong personal statement on your application.
- You'll be invited for a group and/or individual interview where you can find out more about the course and tell us why you're interested in this subject area or we'll make an offer based on your application form.
- Applicants whose first language is not English should have minimum SQA ESOL National 5 or equivalent for NC/NQ courses and ESOL Higher or equivalent for HNC/D courses.
