Overview
The course develops the skills involved in holistic and complementary therapies, including body and facial massage, healthy eating and wellbeing and techniques for managing stress. Through professional skills practice sessions, you'll gain experience and confidence working with clients.
Outcomes
You'll be able to participate in volunteering opportunities throughout the year, offering treatments in a variety of settings. The Complementary and Spa Therapies course at City of Glasgow College also provides you with the qualifications you need for professional membership and insurance.

Minimum entry requirements
- Four National 5 qualifications at Grade C or above; OR
- Other equivalent qualifications or experience.

- Applicants whose first language is not English should have minimum SQA ESOL National 5 or equivalent for NC/NQ courses and ESOL Higher or equivalent for HNC/D courses.
