Overview
You'll be taught by qualified specialists in sports therapy and sports science, who have a wealth of industry experience.
The course is a blend of practical subjects which take place in the sports clinic, the gym and the classroom. You'll be expected to work with your classmates in a range of areas including designing a training programme and sports therapy related areas such as taping and massage.
Outcomes
On successful completion of the Sports Therapy course at City of Glasgow College, you'll be able to progress to HNC Soft Tissue Therapy / HND Sports Therapy or any other relevant HN programme.

Minimum entry requirements
- Three National 5 qualifications at Grade C or above in a relevant subject (English, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, PE, Mathematics and Geography); OR
- National Qualification at SCQF level 5 in a Sports related subject; OR
- Other equivalent qualifications or experience.
- You'll be invited for a group and/or individual interview where you can find out more about the course and tell us why you're interested in this subject area or we'll make an offer based on your application form.
- The interview will consist of a group task demonstrating teamwork and communication with other interviewees.
- Applicants whose first language is not English should have minimum SQA ESOL National 5 or equivalent for NC/NQ courses and ESOL Higher or equivalent for HNC/D courses.
