Public Services at Cardiff and Vale College introduces learners to the uniformed public services sector and the skills required to pursue a career in areas such as policing, fire and rescue, the armed forces, ambulance services or the prison service.
The programme combines industry knowledge with physical preparation and practical activities. Learners explore employment opportunities, volunteering, health and fitness requirements, recruitment processes and the personal qualities needed to work successfully in public services.
