General requirements
SGBS students are recommended to have at least an intermediate level of English which is the equivalent of IELTS 5.0 or TOEFL 45. We do not require a language certificate. If you are not sure of your English level please contact us for more information.
Before you register for SGBS, you should speak with a representative from your respective faculty or registrar’s office to ensure that your home institution will recognize the SGBS program for transfer credit.
You will need to:
- receive a letter of acceptance from the University of Victoria and a receipt for your tuition deposit before leaving your home country
- pay the full tuition fees by bank transfer in order to receive a letter of acceptance/invitation
- receive an electronic travel authorization (eTA) to enter Canada from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada
