La Salle University Center was established in 1948 in Griñón in Spain. It was then a training center for teachers. The university moved to Aravaca in 1978. From then it is attached to the Autonomous University of Madrid. It is mainly offering degrees in various field of education. the undergraduate courses in Psychology was added in 2002-2003.
At present the university is concentrating in Educational Sciences, Health Sciences and a Management and Technology. It has 1600 schools worldwide.
