Short Courses

Whilst we've been a university for more than 20 years, our history of professional education and research spans more than 100 years. This started with the establishment of the Bathurst Experimental Farm in 1895.

Charles Sturt University's three Faculties (Arts and Education, Business, Justice & Behavioural Sciences, and Science) comprise a number of Schools and centres for specific areas of study and research.

CSU has four University Research Centres. They are designed to bring together staff around a coherent research theme. Each Centre has broad influence and engagement across the University.

University Research Centres leverage their resources to attract external funding to promote achievement as they engage in identifying, pursuing and sharing intellectual leadership with quality domestic and international research partners. The research conducted within the Centres is strongly complemented by research conducted with the Faculties of the University.

CSU graduates have long enjoyed one of the best employment rates of any university in the country, and our focus continues to be producing job-ready graduates with the experience and skills to hit the ground running. Our Career Service is one more way we can give you the edge after graduation.

The Careers Service

When you study with us you'll get career development workshops, support finding work experience placements, personal appointments with our career development officers and tips on job applications, resume writing, interview techniques and job search strategies.
