Research
The University undertakes research activities in most academic fields and areas of technology. In terms of the volume of research, pride of place goes to Life Sciences and to Biological and Health Studies.
Among other disciplines, stress should be laid on the research carried out in the fields of Food and Agriculture, Earth and Energy Sciences and Technology, and Industrial, Computer and Aerospace Engineering (Automation and Manufacturing, Cybernetics, Artificial Intelligence). The University also has a solid research record in various areas in the Humanities, Law and Socio-economic Studies.
