Very research focused
I came to MUN hoping to pursue a research career after graduation. Their graduate programs are heavily research-focused, and you will get a complete experience of designing your own thesis to completing it step by step. I heard the supervisors can be amazing or ...meh, so choose who you work under carefully.

Collaborative, Reflective, and Challenging
Memorial University has given me a chance to pursue a degree that is out of my comfort zone. I have found a great community full of support and encouragement. As a Social/Cultural Studies major, my experience has been intellectually engaging and though-provoking. The program has offered a place for strong emphasis on critical thinking, social theory, and analyzing contemporary cultural issues which has helped me understand society and power structures on a deeper level. The campus life is welcoming, and there are opportunities to grow and engage in such as research programs, seminars, and student-led initiatives that compliments what we learn in class. Overall, I would recommend Memorial University to students interested in discussion-based learning and wants to strengthen their analytical and writing skills in a supportive academic environment.

A Sneak peak of 4 years as a BNS Student.
It was quite a rollercoaster, filled with hours of appreciating the science behind the nursing skills. And hours of wanting to give up because certain scientific facts just weren't adding up or the brain was too exhausted to pick it all. All in all, the race had to be finished smartly.
The Global Student Satisfaction Awards empower students across the globe to determine the best universities of 2025. Universities with a score above 4.0 (out of 5) in any of the 7 award categories, receive Badges of Excellence. Congratulations!
