History
McDaniel College, Westminster, MD, was founded in 1867, and is one of the first coeducational colleges in the United States. It was originally named after the Western Maryland Railroad Company, whose president offered a generous donation for the building of the first residence halls on College Hill in Westminster, the seat of Carroll County, in Maryland.

McDaniel College Budapest offers a number of dynamic major programs, from art history, business, and communication, to political science and psychology—a variety of majors for a variety of students. And McDaniel College is flexible: you can enter our program as undecided, sample a number of different courses, and then choose your major based on what you prefer.
