National Central University (NCU) is an university with long-standing traditions in Taiwan. Founded in Nanjing in 1915, NCU was the leading academic center in the Southeast China; the phrase “North the Peking University; South the Central University” at that time revealed the significance of NCU. NCU was later re-established in Taiwan in 1962 and started the development on the basis of Geophysics.

About
History
In 1902, during the late Qing Dynasty, the Liangjiang Governor-General Chang Chih-Tung established Sanjiang Normal School in Nanjing, which had later became National Nanjing Normal College in 1915. This was the birth of modern-style education in China and also the founding of National Central University.

National Central University Earns AACSB International Accreditation. AACSB International (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) announced on August 18 that National Central University has earned accreditation for the School of Management.
