- It enjoys convenient transportation system. It only takes 2 hours driving to Shanghai and 2 hours flight to Beijing and Hong Kong.
- The university has five campuses, covering an area over 3000 acres, with a floor space totaling 790,000 square meters. The main campus, adjacent to Feng Hua Road in the north and Yongjiang River in the south, offers wide space for study and research with magnificent buildings and pleasant lawns and greenery.

Quite satisfied
The biggest difficulty I faced was the language barrier, but with practice and time I could manage to hold long and meaning conversations with people from China as well as other nationalities. The school does not yet have a wide enough range of international students, the majority of the students are Russian, and I haven't met any other European, American or African students yet, but that could also be because i was not here before Covid19. The teachers are nice and helpful and understanding of the difficulties in life and studies due to the language barrier. The Chinese students are shy but very nice, and once you make friends they'll always be there to help. The school campus is also situated in a nice area, right across from a big mall, within a kilometre from the subway and parks and other universities in the surrounding area. I wasn't able to comment on parking because students aren't allowed cars on campus since most stay on campus anyway and the campus isn't too large that you need a car, there are public bicycles you can use and it's even alright to walk everywhere, the international students' dorm are close enough to the classrooms that we can walk there within 15 minutes.
Future NBU Students
I had an awesome experience on campus, the university is using technology in ways that are imaginable. I would choose it again if I was to go back in time. The language barrier was not that hectic, all the lectures spoke and understood English since most of them taught and also studied in Canada and USA.
My ningbo university experience
the experience has great overall, the teaching mode has been excellent and communications between the teachers and the students is absolutely remarkable. Hard to imagine anyplace better for studies than this place.
