The University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus (UNMC) opened in September 2000 to become the first campus of a British University in Malaysia and one of the first anywhere in the world - earning the distinction of the Queen's Award for Enterprise 2001 and the Queen's Award for Industry (International Trade) 2006. In 2015, UNMC celebrates its 15th year anniversary.
We offer a broad range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes are available from different specialist schools and departments across the Faculties of Arts and Social Sciences, Engineering and Science. We host a community of around 5000 students from over 85 different countries worldwide who work with and receive a world-class higher education experience from leading academics in their field. The campus provides excellent teaching, learning and research facilities including a well equipped library, dedicated study areas and computer, language, and science and engineering laboratories.

In September 2005, the Malaysia Campus moved to its new purpose-built campus at Semenyih, 30km south of Kuala Lumpur city centre.
A picturesque location spanning across 125 acres and overlooking green hills, the campus was designed to mirror the attributes of University Park in the UK. As a self-contained and self-sufficient neighbourhood village within a garden environment, it is now home to more than 4500 students.
The Library is responsible for managing information resources for learning, teaching and research and providing support on their use. The core collection covers materials that meet the taught courses offered by the university with generous allocations in developing resources required for research purposes
Student Network Services (SNS) is a high-speed internet connection for students living in the halls of residence of The University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus.
All campus halls have access points that broadcast WLAN connection to the residents.
The Health Centre is operated by Kumpulan Medic, an independent health provider, whereby a fee will be charged for consultations.
If required, the centre is also able to dispense medicines and arrange for laboratory tests.

The University of Nottingham Malaysia offers a range of services and facilities for our students. Aside from state-of-the-art library, the university also excellent non-academic facilities such as a cafe and extensive sports centre to make life on campus more enjoyable.
