Reflecting on Primary Education Studies
Studying Primary Education at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile provided a strong theoretical foundation and meaningful pedagogical tools. However, I felt that there was limited emphasis on real classroom experience and current educational challenges in Chilean schools. The program could benefit from greater integration between academic theory and everyday teaching practice.
POV: you study in the best Chilean University (PUC)
Pontificial Catholic University of Chile is an amazing place to study, one of the best in Chile and latin america. It is not easy to be selected for your studies there, but it's worth it considering the integral education you will get.
Falling in love with sciences
Before entering uni I didn't really know what to study, but after a couple of conversations with some school teachers I made the decision to study biochemistry, once I've realized science was my subject, and that I wanted to get involved in that area. I've checked different curriculums and my Uni's one was the more convincing for me, and I was right. Just like every other career, there are some very difficult subjects, but when you like what you do, and you aim to achieve something with it, every challenge is helpful, mainly to grow as a person and professional. My university provides lots of tools to be capable, and professors are also always there in the best way for one to understand everything, also when it has to do with "future".
