Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena (UPCT) was founded in 1998, although the Schools of Engineering and Business Science are over 100 years old.

Best Global Universities Rankings by U.S. News & World Report presents all the top universities from the U.S. and 60 other countries around the world. They measure the rate of students going to their second year of studies, as well as the rate of students who graduate. It also asks university representatives on the performance of universities, and evaluates university resources, teacher salaries, graduation rates, student academic achievements and satisfaction. After calculating and comparing these criteria, U.S. News ranks the top international universities accordingly.
Housing services
Located close to the campus you will find two different dormitories.
The monthly price of a room in one of our dormitories is about 500€. The access to our canteen and other facilities is already included in that price. For more information:
Apart from that, you also have the possibility to rent a room in a shared apartment for about 140-200€ per month.

The UPCT comprises a well-stocked library measuring approximately 3600 qm², with 665 places to study.
At our library you will find three fully equipped computer rooms, where most of the practical classes and the preparation of final projects take place.
