History
Founded as a teacher training school in 1908, Hangzhou Normal University has a history of over 100 years, which has bestowed the institution with a glorious tradition of producing first-rate teachers and educators at different levels for the whole Chinese nation.

Hangzhou Normal University currently offers about 60 undergraduate programs and over 80 graduate programs conducted in its 2 faculties and 19 schools. Housing services
There are different types of accommodation facilities for international students on the different campuses of the university. Self-sponsored students can also rent off-campus housing with the approval of the university and registration with the local Public Security Bureau. Accommodation costs can vary between RMB 4000 (580 USD) and 18000 (2607 USD) yuan per year depending on the facilities and conditions.
