UC SYD, University College South Denmark offers a wide range of higher education study programmes and courses at all levels, with an emphasis on first-cycle bachelor degrees in the field of Educational Sciences, Health Sciences, Social Sciences and Communication Sciences. We have more than 6.000 students, including many international students.
We research the challenges and opportunities of the welfare professionals. In collaboration with practice, we create new knowledge that makes teachers, educators, nurses, midwives, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and social workers and our professional students more proficient.
You will be accommodated in Haderslev at a price of approximately EUR 375 per person per month. The University College will help you find accommodation but please note that we do not have a housing guarantee.

Geographically, University College South Denmark covers Southern Jutland and has more than 6,500 students and 700 members of staff.
Our study programmes take place at four regional locations: Esbjerg, Haderslev, Kolding and Aabenraa. We see this regional dispersion as a source of strength. Embracing diversity for mutual understanding and inspiration is one of our central values: the meeting of different cultures and professional traditions; cross-disciplinary and cross-professional courses; and an overall emphasis on internationalisation, research and innovation.
