History
In 2013, The King’s University celebrated a landmark year with the inauguration of the institution’s fourth President, Dr. Melanie J. Humphreys. A gifted and strategic leader, Dr. Humphreys took office on July 2, 2013 following a lengthy search process led by a team of King’s faculty, staff, students, Senate, and Board of Governors members.
Education
Refined liberal arts programs expose students to new ideas and interconnected disciplines. Programs are taught by world-class and national award-winning professors and prepare students well for future careers and graduate programs. King's boasts of a 94% student post graduation employment rate!

If you're considering a move to Edmonton to attend King's, or looking to move out for the first time, King's residence is a great place to live. Not only does King's residence boast of some amazing amenities - like large spacious dorm rooms, and great themed common spaces - it's also a perfect place to meet new people.

We're passionate about creating an environment where you belong, know you're safe, and feel supported. Whether you're a student with a strong independent streak, or someone looking for a little more structure and support as you move out on your own, living in residence will plug you into one of the most special communities in the city!
Library services
The Simona Maaskant Library on The King's University campus features over 75,000 books, periodicals, CDs, DVDs, and other material available on-site, over 200,000 electronic resource materials, and over 10 million items are available through the NEOS Consortium.
Campus life
Living in residence means King's campus is your home! There are many great lounges on campus that stay open late into the evening. The WorkOut centre is open late until the evening each and every day, and your proximity to classes, the library, and other campus services can't be beat.
In addition, each of King's three residence options contain great common spaces.
Sports facilities
The King's University Eagles are part of the ACAC (Alberta Colleges Athletics Conference) and proudly compete in the sports. Faith is an important part of our athletics program, and our teams and athletes are dedicated to success both on and off the court.
Accreditation
Accreditation. King University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate, baccalaureate, master, and doctoral degrees.
