Created in January 1st, 2020, Université Gustave Eiffel (UNI EIFFEL) is a unique, pioneering university made out of six existing bodies covering multidisciplinary thematic to address the continuous transformation of cities. From social sciences to nanotechnologies, it brings in movement the educational, research and economic environment toward the development of resilient cities of tomorrow.
Université Gustave Eiffel gathers 1,200 researchers and associated researchers in 23 research entities, and 1,000 international peer-reviewed publications per year (with about 130 articles/year in the “top 10 % Leiden CWTS indicator”). Université Gustave Eiffel actively participates in European excellence research projects in Horizon 2020, - more than 50 projects financed, including 4 ERC and 5 MSCA - and Erasmus + programme (9 projects, more than 300 annual exchanges). The University also has a vibrant and dynamic relation at the European and International level with more than 900 bilateral collaborations as well as three International Associated Laboratories and one International Research Institute (Ger).
Université Gustave Eiffel is a multidisciplinary university that caters for students in a wide variety of fields, many different levels of higher education qualifications: Two-year Technology Diplomas (DUT), Academic Bachelor's Degrees, Vocational Bachelor's Degrees, Master's Degrees, Engineering Degrees, Architectural Degrees, and Doctorates. The University operates within the scientific framework of the FUTURE Initiative, with a strong focus on the themes of the resource-efficient city, the safe and resilient city, and the intelligent city. Université Gustave Eiffel's courses reflect this, while maintaining its involvement in the fields where its institutions have a prior involvement.
Student life at Université Gustave Eiffel fosters student integration and fellowship. It is based on some specific features, the most important of which is the Student Parliament. A unique body on the French university scene, this Parliament, created by and for students, is composed solely of students elected from among the component institutions and other bodies (the Management Board (CA) and the Academic Board (CAC) and of students representing the associative sector. Its purpose is to improve student well-being, both educational and in terms of their daily lives, by supporting projects ranging from the organisation of cultural events to the improvement of facilities for student life.

Open to all, at no charge, the University Library offers you access to more than 200,000 documents (books, newspapers, magazines, dissertations, DVDs) in different disciplines. It also provides many services: WiFi, photocopying and printing, co-working space, document binding, film viewing areas, lending of headphones, etc.

The programs are delivered on four different teaching sites: Cité Descartes, Meaux, Val d'Europe and Paris.
Located in the east of the Paris region, in the municipalities of Champs-sur-Marne and Noisy-le-Grand, the Cité Descartes site hosts many of the Université Gustave Eiffel's facilities.

The activities take place mainly on the Marne-la-Vallée Campus (University gymnasium, ESIEE Paris gymnasium, weight room in the Lavoisier building, stadiums and surrounding facilities).
La Maison de l’Étudiant (MDE – Student Union) is a venue dedicated to student life and a meeting place for student associations. You will find a dance hall, a self-service dining area (in 2021, it will be transformed into a cafeteria open to the public, which will sell snacks and refreshments, as well as hosting daytime and evening events and activities), a multi-purpose hall and a forecourt with outdoor tables.
There are more than 20 student associations on the campus, including music, arts and languages clubs.All courses are accredited and controlled by governmental authorities.
