History
The university was established in 1919 with the name "Regio Istituto Superiore Navale". After a reorganization in 1999, the name was changed to "University of Naples Parthenope".
Education
The University of Naples Parthenope offers more than 50 different courses at different levels (Bachelor, Master, Ph.D.) covering seven main areas: Management, Economics, Law, Business administration, Engineering, Science and Technology, Sports science. Four masterclasses are offered in English: Fashion, Art and Food Management, Marketing and International Management, Applied Computer Science, Management Engineering. Starting from January 2022, the university will offer a premium master's program in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management held in collaboration with the MIT Sloan School of Management.
