As one of the best established libraries according to International Standards, the University Library has a large collection of books covering various branches of Engineering and Technology.
Ours is one of the greenest Campuses' in the country with all the facilities that are expected from global Universities. The stay at our campus provides a wealth of experience by developing qualities such as camaraderie and social responsibility. Our students comprise a cosmopolitan mix from all parts of India as well as many countries across the globe.
SRM has excellent sports and recreation facilities on campus, with dedicated facilities for tennis, basketball, badminton, volley ball, yoga and various other sports.Students participate regularly in Inter Collegiate, Inter University and State Level Tournaments and have won laurels for SRM.

My four-year journey in the BS (Hons) Chemistry programme at SRM Institute of Science and Technology was very valuable. The course provided strong fundamentals in chemistry, good lab exposure, supportive faculty, and opportunities for research and skill development. The campus infrastructure and learning environment were also excellent. Overall, it was a great place to grow academically and personally.
The facilities are decent in terms of labs and stuff, the faculties are also mostly good. If u really wanna do well, you will of course have to do things on your own, from maintaining cgpa to getting opportunities like internships etc, the semester program thru IR office can also open up avenues. The administration work etc from the department side needs improvement, as well as outgoing project students rulebook has to be revised, placements for core biotech roles needs to be provided and placement training should be provided accordingly. With the above being said, some professors are genuinely very helpful and encouraging towards guidance for certain opportunities and figuring paths with masters etc. it was a good experience academically.
My name is Swayam Gupta and I am from Jaipur, Rajasthan. I got the opportunity to pursue my undergraduate studies at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai. Initially it becomes difficult to adapt in different culture space but with time, but you get comfortable with time thanks to the great hostel culture and mess. The university and my department of bioengineering has excellent infrastructure and instrument for my degree. The curriculum of my program also changes with time, by integrating modern and new topics and courses. Practical training and lab session is also a keen part of the course. They also have a very good industrial exposure and their great reputation also allowed me to come to Netherlands for my exchange program in my last semester.
