UMT is a project of Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) Trust. ILM was established in 1990 by leading educationists, professionals, and industrialists with an aim to enhance organizational and individual effectiveness.

World University Rankings is a vital resource that provides the definitive list of the world's best universities. They look at how often they're producing new ideas, what their reputation is around the world, and how much they're contributing to science and academic fields. After calculating and comparing these criteria, THE ranks the universities accordingly.
Housing services
UMT encompasses a diverse student body, who joins the UMT from all parts of the country studying multifarious disciplines at the campus. Keeping this in mind, UMT has made a suitable arrangement for students who hail from distant areas and provide them housing facilities at a very reasonable price. Students may seek advice from the Office of Information and Admissions (OIA) at the time of admission in order to secure a place in the UMT Hostels. Students are accommodated on ‘first come first served basis.
Library services
UMT supports its academic programs and research initiatives through a modern, state-of-the-art Learning Resource Center (LRC), which is an indispensable source of information for faculty and students and contains one of the best collections of books in Pakistan on all academic disciplines comprising more than 138000 books.
Campus life
The UMT campus master plan includes all features of a modern university meeting international standards and offers excellent facilities for teaching and learning. The first phase of the UMT campus project, comprising of the academic block, external works, utilities and supplies, was completed in June 2007, with a covered area of 200,000 sq ft. The entire student body, faculty and staff members shifted to the purpose-built campus in a phased manner.
Institutional accreditations determine the extent to which university programs meet the rigorous quality criteria which are required in specialized professional fields. We strongly believe that relevant accreditations are the means through which our programs are benchmarked against best practice.
